A NEW schools division office will be established in Carmona City following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement and Deed of Usufruct, Mayor Dahlian Loyola said Tuesday (07 Jan 2025).

The Office of the Mayor led the event in collaboration with the Department of Education.

The signing ceremony was attended by DepEd Undersecretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs Atty. Filemon Ray Javier, DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON Regional Director Atty. Alberto T. Escobarte, CESO II, and Assistant Regional Director Loida N. Nidea.

As a full component city, Loyola shared that Carmona now has the right to establish its own City Schools Division, which will better address the needs of the city’s students.

“This is a victory for the teachers and students of the City of Carmona!” Loyola said.
