IMUS SCHOOLS RECEIVE ANTI-DENGUE EQUIPMENT

/ 8 August 2022

TO ENSURE the protection of students against dengue fever, the Center for Health Development of the Department of Health in Region IV-A distributed anti-dengue equipment to several schools in Imus City, Cavite.

Dr. Ariel Valencia, DOH Calabarzon regional director, gave the equipment to City Mayor Alex Advincula and City Division Superintendent Dr. Rosa Marie Torres in a ceremony last August 5 at the Gov. DM Camerino Integrated School in Barangay Medicion.

The Imus Pilot Elementary School and Buhay na Tubig Elementary School also received anti-dengue equipment.

The DOH also installed long-lasting insecticidal nets on the windows of the schools to provide further protection against dengue-carrying mosquitoes.

The Office of the City Engineer conducted a cleanup at the Imus Pilot Elementary School during Brigada Eskwela 2022 in the first week of August.
