ILOCOS POLICEMEN HELP LEARNERS READ

/ 9 September 2021

TO HELP learners prepare for the new school year, policemen in Gregorio del Pilar, Ilocos Sur implemented a reading project through the “Brigada Pabasa” program.

The project was carried out by members of  the Gregorio del Pilar Municipal Police Station in coordination with officials from the Alfonso Elementary School.

The program aims to assist communities in preparing children for School Year 2021-2022 by boosting the children’s reading ability.

Philippine National Police chief Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar said the project shows the police’s willingness to help children in attaining good education.
