GMA KAPUSO FOUNDATION, ARMY JOIN HANDS IN INAUGURATING AURORA SCHOOL BUILDING
GMA Kapuso Foundation Incorporated inaugurated a two-classroom school building in partnership with top Central Luzon Philippine Army officials in Brgy. Villa Aurora this week.
Gracing the inauguration ceremony were Brigadier General Luis Rex D. Bergante PA, acting commander of the 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Division, Philippine Army; 703rd Infantry (AGILA) Brigade Commander Colonel Joseph Norwin D. Pasamonte; Commanding Officer of 522 Engineering Battalion, Lt. Col. Agrifino C. Poblete; and Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion Lt. Col. Reandrew P. Rubio.
Rubio received a plaque of appreciation from Rikki Escudero Catibog, Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer of GMAKF, together with GMAKF founder and Ambassador Mel C. Tiangco during the short program that followed the inauguration.
“This activity is a joint effort in close collaboration with GMAKF to build a better future to our young ones for the next generations,” said Rubio in expressing his gratitude to the giant television network.
For his part, Bergante expressed appreciation for the continued partnership of the GMAFK with the Army, citing their successful projects together that help the people of Aurora.
“We are grateful sa ating partner GMAFK for allowing us to be part of this endeavor. Hindi dito nagtatapos ang ating samahan. Magpapatuloy pa ang ating pagtutulungan upang maabot ang ating adhikaing makatulong sa ating kapwa Pilipino,” said Bergante.
