F2F IN EASTERN VISAYAS SUCCESSFUL — DEPED

/ 25 November 2021

THE PILOT run of face-to-face classes in Eastern Visayas was successful, the Department of Education said.

DepEd-Eastern Visayas Regional Director Evelyn Fetalvero said that the first week of classes was “generally successful.”

Fetalvero thanked all the stakeholders for the success of the return to schools of students.

“Our journey in ensuring learning continuity amid the deadly pandemic was never a walk in the park … but with the strong support of everyone, we did not feel alone,” she said.

The DepEd Central Office reported minimal problems during the pilot run such as the removal of face masks and the violation of physical distancing.

DepEd said only 56 public schools have submitted their report on the first week of limited face-to-face classes.
