THE DEPARTMENT of Education-General Santos received 22 multi-media and broadcasting equipment on Wednesday which was given by ICTSI Foundation Inc.

ICTSI Foundation Representative Eloida Arcena turned over the equipment, amounting to P350,000 to School Division Superintendent Isagani Dela Cruz, CESO V.

Dela Cruz expressed gratitude to ICTSI for their continuous support to DepEd GenSan and other schools, saying that the said equipment will be a big help, especially for the students of the Special Program in Journalism who will be training at the Media Center.

It will also be used to boost the ability and knowledge of SPJ students.

The foundation earlier provided equipment to DepEd GenSan media last September 2021 and was used on the program On The Spot and DepEd GenSan Ratsada Balita, which was awarded by DepEd Philippines as Most Outstanding in Information Dissemination (Broadcast Category) in its first Information Leaders Awards.
