DEPED CAR INKS PARTNERHSIP WITH CFSPI
THE DEPARTMENT of Cordillera Administrative Region inked a partnership with Child and Family Service Philippines Incorporated to strengthen and sustain its capability programs, projects, and activities relative to child protection concerns.
DepEd CAR Regional Director Estela Cariño signed the Memorandum of Agreement with CFSPI to formalize the partnership.
CFSPI was represented by Executive Director Carmen Gomez-Moyaen, who expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to be partners with the basic education department.
Meanwhile, the organization in Baguio City will be involved in implementing programs responding to the needs of ‘Referred Children’ such as for Protection and Recovery and even for Community Based Interventions and Capacity Building.
On the other hand, Cariño vowed that DepEd CAR will be more responsive in helping these learners in vulnerable situations and acknowledged that CFSPI is another important partner in realizing the goals of DepEd CAR’s Project Salaknib Tan Namnama.
Other signatories of the MOA aside from Cariño and Gomez-Moyaen were Atty.Vanessa Flora of DepEd CAR and Julie Rose Landisan from CFSPI.
