/ 1 April 2021

TO EXPAND learning delivery modalities and reach more students, the Department of Education unveiled Pivot 4A TV that will serve the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.

Regional Director Wilfredo Cabral shared that Pivot 4A TV is the latest learning platform anchored on the region’s contextualized Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan titled Pivot 4A QuBE.

“Sa Pivot 4A TV, gusto natin na mabigyan ng paunang impormasyon at mga gabay ang ating mga guro kung papaano magiging mas maluwag at mas madali para sa kanila na i-deliver ang instructions sa ating mga learners,” Cabral said.

The new education platform has several key segments —  Your Quick Guide to Learning, Pivot Balita — News beyond Learning, Pivot Dokyu —True Stories of Learning, and StraightForwaRD  — a monthly segment featuring the regional directors together with regional and division heads who will share the region’s plans in enriching curriculum implementation and practices in their respective areas of concerns.

Pivot 4A TV will also serve as a guide for parents to understand the different learning competencies in the succeeding quarters.

Education Secretary Leonor Briones said that the teachers and students must “embrace the innovations.”

“With the launch of Pivot 4A TV, our learners and teachers in Calabarzon can access more localized educational content that can stir their interest and creativity,” Briones said.
