CSPC TIES UP WITH LGU BUHI FOR EXTENSION PROGRAMS

/ 18 March 2021

THE CAMARINES Sur Polytechnic Colleges collaborated with the local government unit of Buhi for the implementation of its flagship program that includes technology transfer.

A Memorandum of Agreement was signed by CSPC President Charlito Cadag and Mayor Margie Aguinillo of Buhi, Camarines Sur.

The university’s Extension Services Office launched SUCCESS or the “Sustainable Undertakings on Championing the Community through Effective Study-Based Services” that focuses on five components — trainings, communication information, community outreach, technical assistance, and technology transfer and utilization.

SUCCESS aims to integrate the college programs under the umbrella framework through coordinated projects, activities, and partnerships “to bring about sustainable change that goes beyond meeting an immediate need of the community,” the school said.

“This undertaking will be considered as one of the best practices of the CSPC — LGU Buhi partnership with the intent to replicate similar agreements in many other government units in Rinconda and beyond,” it added.

The signing of the MOA was witnessed by the university’s ESO Director Charles Bolival and Municipal Administrator Bethoven Joy Nachor.
