THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has appointed Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe as regional director in Region 8.

The presidents of the 10 state universities and colleges in Eastern Visayas gathered in Tacloban City to welcome Aljibe.

The Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges expressed high hopes that Albije can spur development in the region through quality higher education.

Meanwhile, Visayas State University President Edgardo Tulin thanked former regional director George Colorado for his service.

“PASUC-8 wishes all the best for RD George on his new regional assignment,” he said.
