CEBU GOV’T TO CONSTRUCT NEW BUILDING FOR CTU

/ 27 February 2021

THE CEBU  provincial government allocated P11 million for the construction of a new building at the Cebu Technological University campus in Barangay Tambogon.

The two-story school building will benefit local students who will no longer need to travel to other towns or to the city for their college education.

The provincial government has pushed for quality education with the support of Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia and her brother, Deputy Speaker Pablo John Garcia.

The governor said that education is the key to a better future.

“Education is the great equalizer. Once completed, the project is seen to benefit almost 1,000 students in the northern town,” Garcia said.

CTU’s main campus is in Cebu City. It has nine satellite campuses and 11 extension campuses in the province.
