BENGUET STUDENTS RECEIVE GADGETS

/ 14 April 2021

TO BOOST the morale of learners, the Schools Division Office in Benguet collaborated with the Philippine National Police in providing educational assistance to select students in the province.

Dubbed as “Project ADAL: Edukasyong Hatid ng RFSO 15 sa Gitna ng Pandemya,” the project aims to provide gadgets and internet connectivity to 15 deserving students.

“The project was conceptualized as an extension of the services of the partner agency in order to continue the good image of the organization to the community that it serves and protects. It also aims to ensure the availability of gadgets and internet connection for the school year,” SDO Benguet said.

It said that 15 tablets, 15 pocket Wi-Fis, 15 32GB flash drives and 10-month internet subscription were turned over to the students through their respective Public School District Supervisor and coordinating principals.

The PNP’s Regional Finance Services Office-15 said the initiative will serve as the bridge to fulfill learners’ dreams through education.

“PNP-RFSO 15 finds it necessary to do its moral obligation towards the community by giving back the services that they truly deserve. The RFSO 15 believes that education shall be availed in the midst of crisis, not even be the reason to take away a child’s dream,” it said in a statement.

Schools Division Superintendent Gloria Buya-ao thanked the agency for its assistance.
