ANGELES CITY DISTRIBUTES INTERNET CARDS
THE CITY government of Angeles, Pampanga distributed internet cards for grade school students to help them with distance learning.
The City Information Office said that Grade 4 to 12 public school students can make use of the cards for a maximum of three years.
These cards can be used to connect to 700 dedicated internet access points that were installed across the city.
On Monday, 5,404 cards were distributed during the kickoff of the project.
The city government plans to distribute 57,530 internet cards to the students who also received free tablets.
