ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN ZAMBOANGA CITY CONDUCT F2F CLASSES

/ 7 April 2022

THE DEPARTMENT of Education said that all public schools in Zamboanga City are conducting face-to-face classes.

Schools division superintendent Dr. Roy Tuballa said that 213 public schools and three private schools have resumed in-person classes.

Tuballa said that over 58,000 learners are participating in the physical classes.

“With the situation right now, I could say everything is in order following the joint guidelines issued by the Department of Education and the Department of Health with the rollout of school safety assessment tools, which is also the requirement of the local Inter-Agency Task Force,” Tuballa said.

He added that students who are struggling in their classes and those who have their parents’ permission to attend in-person classes were prioritized.

Tuballa said that 95.8 percent of teachers and non-teaching workers have been properly vaccinated against Covid19.
