50 SCHOOLS IN VISAYAS READY FOR F2F CLASSES

/ 27 March 2021

FIFTY schools in Central Visayas are ready to conduct face-to-face classes, according to the Department of Education.

“This list we recommended for face-to-face classes is compliant with the requirements asked by the Department of Health,” Salustiano Jimenez, DepEd Region 7 director, said.

“The concerned schools have done the needed preparations so that when given the go signal, they will be ready to hold limited face-to-face classes,” he added.

He said that six of the schools are in Bohol, nine in Siquijor, 13 in Negros Oriental and 22 in Cebu.

Jimenez said the agency will inspect other schools to determine their readiness for face-to-face classes.

Schools designated for face-to-face classes should have the approval of local and health officials.

“Once a positive Covid19 case is reported in a chosen school, the face-to-face classes will be stopped,” Jimenez said.
