43 YOUTH GROUPS RECEIVE SEAL OF GOOD YOUTH GOVERNANCE
THE PROVINCIAL government of Laguna and GoodGovPh awarded 43 youth organizations with the Seal of Good Youth Governance for their strong and competent youth governance.
SGYG is a merit-based recognition program for local youth development councils, offices and organizations that practice sound governance in their daily operations.
Biñan City topped the awards with eight winning youth groups.
The SGYG emphasized the critical role of national and local governments in promoting participatory governance and youth engagement.
“We are one in this endeavor to raise the standards of strong and competent youth governance, streamlining good governance practices not only in the youth sector but in our government institutions at large,” said PCOO Undersecretary Kris Ablan as he presented special awards to outstanding youth groups.
