TEN colleges and universities based in Cebu City sought the full implementation of face-to-face classes for Academic Year 2022-2023.

These are the University of San Carlos, University of Southern Philippines Foundation, Don Bosco Technical College-Cebu, University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu Institute of Technology-University, University of Cebu, Southwestern University, University of the Visayas, Cebu Institute of Medicine, and Velez College.

Executives of the schools met with Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama to discuss the opening of schools.

The officials said that they will prepare their facilities for the conduct of physical classes.

They said that keeping up with flexible learning is hard for students.

The mandatory vaccination of students who will attend in-person classes has been proposed, as well as the faculty members and school personnel.

A special vaccination day for the schools is being planned by the city government.
