THE XAVIER University-Ateneo de Cagayan and the Parasat Cable TV Inc. signed an agreement to feature educational shows produced by the school.

XU President Fr. Mars Tan and PC-TV founder Engr. Elpidio Paras signed a Memorandum of Agreement on the airing of shows that tackle subjects from grade school to college.

These shows will be aired daily on channel 4 of PC-TV.

The university said that the collaboration was anchored on the common goal to provide more avenues for learning and service to the community.

“The timing is perfect especially with the ‘home-based’ learning set-up of most if not all schools. The videos are expected to provide a supplemental learning avenue to the students and even to the general public,” the university said.

“Fr. Mars and Sir Elpidio both recognize the true worth of this project as a significant contribution in the development of knowledge among students and other stakeholders through cable media,” it added.
