TESDA OFFERS LANGUAGE TRAINING FOR SOLDIERS

THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority urged Philippine Army personnel to enroll in the agency’s English language proficiency training.

“I would like to invite the Philippine Army soldiers to join us in enhancing the skills of Filipinos in foreign languages. We are looking forward to continuous language training with the Philippine Army soldiers,” TESDA Deputy Director General Aniceto Bertiz III said during the graduation of PA personnel on English language proficiency training.

Last September 20, 25 personnel of the Philippine Army finished English proficiency training.

Bertiz lauded the PA personnel and urged them to share the skills they have gained with others. He said that language proficiency reinforces the competencies of uniformed personnel in carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently.

TESDA has been providing various skills training to the Philippine National Police and Armed Forces of the Philippines personnel.

The agency earlier expressed its intention to offer additional language courses such as Arabic, Mandarin, Korean, Italian and French.

The agency’s ’s National Language Skills Center offers English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers, Japanese Language and Culture, Japanese Language and Culture Level II and Spanish Language for Different Vocations.
