TESDA HOLDS LANGUAGE AND CULTURE TRAINING
THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority is conducting language and culture training in Antique and Marinduque.
TESDA, through the National Language Skills Center, is holding face-to-face training programs in Basic Korean Language and Culture and English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers in Pandan, Antique. The training will end on October 17.
An online English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers training will be conducted in Marinduque from October 6 to November 13.
TESDA Director General Suharto Mangudadatu said the training will not only upskill the 100 beneficiaries but also help them gain confidence in speaking and using the language.
“TESDA, through the NLSC, commits to respond and address the industry requirements of language proficiency by providing high-quality language skills training for job-ready Filipino workers to immerse themselves in the culture and new environment of their workplace,” he said in a statement.
“The NLSC would like to capacitate the local government units, TESDA Regional and Provincial Offices by providing assistance in the training delivery of the language programs in the regions,” Mangudadatu added.
Aside from Basic Korean Language and Culture and English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers, the NLSC also offers Spanish Language for Different Vocations, Japanese Language and Culture and Japanese Language and Culture Level II.
