TESDA EXTENDS HELP TO MANILA FIRE VICTIMS

THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority, Senator Christopher ‘Bong’ Go and Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’  Domagoso extended assistance to fire victims in Manila.

TESDA’s Manila District headed by Director Ma. Lourdes Villanueva, together with Association of Technical Schools in Manila President Glenn Mark Blasquez, visited the fire victims currently staying at the Jose Abad Santos High School and Pedro Guevarra covered court to distribute groceries and extend skills training assistance.

TESDA Manila offered hundreds of individuals scholarships on skills training programs to re-equip themselves as they move forward.

Meanwhile, Go distributed bicycles to the fire victims in Pedro Guevara High School. The senator also handed out groceries and other assistance.

Domagoso and Vice Mayor Honey Sheilah Lacuna-Pangan visited the fire victims in Jose Abad Santos High School to inform them that each family that lost a house will get a P10,000 financial aid.

Meanwhile, TESDA also distributed tool kits to technical vocational scholars who graduated under the Special Training for Employment Program in Parañaque City.

Sixty-seven graduates of Cake Making (Leading to Bread and Pastry NC II) and Bread Making (Leading to Bread and Pastry Production NC II) from 7 barangays in Parañaque City received their starter tool kits.
