THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority has announced the winners in the logo making contest for its new slogan, “Sa TESDA, Lingap ay Maaasahan.”

Three designs with the highest scores were chosen. These were the entries of Nichole Destor of Negros Oriental, Mark Aries Reyes of Leyte, and Christoffer Diestro of Maguindanao del Sur.

The entries were judged based on three criteria: originality (30 percent); relevance to the concept of the new TESDA slogan (40 percent); and impact (30 percent).

Each of the winners will receive P10,000 and a Certificate of Recognition.

The contest ran from July 18 to July 31, 2023. There were 1,676 entries.

The best elements from each of the winning designs were incorporated into one unified logo.

The new logo will represent TESDA’s new slogan and guiding principle, “Sa TESDA, Lingap ay Maaasahan”, but will not replace the official corporate logo of the agency.

“The new TESDA slogan demonstrates the agency’s stronger advocacy to give our kababayans even better access to quality-assured and globally competitive tech-voc, and communicate to the public TESDA’s aspiration to provide public service with a heart aligned with the administration’s brand of governance and leadership ‘Bagong Pilipinas’,” TESDA Director General Suharto Mangudadatu said.
