TAGUIG STARTS GIVING JABS TO MINORS

TAGUIG City started vaccinating minors aged 12 to 17 without comorbidities on Tuesday, November 2.

Two sites were tapped for the activity — Lakeshore Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Bonifacio High Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On the other hand, the inoculation of adolescents with health risks is done at the Medical Center Taguig from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The city government said parents or guardians can schedule their children’s vaccination via trace.taguig.gov.ph or Taguig TRACE kiosks in barangay halls or barangay health centers.

No walk-ins are allowed at the vaccination sites.

The government will start the nationwide vaccination of minors with or without comorbidities on November 3. It aims to give jabs to at least 80 percent of 12.7 million children before the end of the year.
