SPECIAL FORCES REGIMENT OPENS COMBAT QUALIFICATION COURSE
THE SPECIAL Forces Regiment (Airborne) has opened the Special Forces Combat Qualification Course Class 22-2023.
Col. Arsenio DC Sadural, the Philippine Army’s assistant chief of staff for Education and Training, was the guest of honor and speaker during the opening program at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on March 13, 2023.
The class, composed of 10 officers and 165 enlisted personnel, will have six modules: Individual Combat Skills Training Phase; Internal Security Operations; Team and Section; Combat Ground Operations Phase; Combat Maneuver Exercise Phase; and Test Mission Phase.
The 20-week course aims to improve the combat skills of students. It will also prepare them to take a higher level of specialization and acquire better special forces skills.
The training course supports the thrust of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. to enhance the individual skills of soldiers.
