/ 17 January 2023

BUKIDNON 3rd District Rep. Jose Ma. Zubiri filed two measures that seek to establish two Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Training and Accreditation centers in the province.

House Bills 6459 and 6460 aim to set up a training and accreditation center in the municipalities of Kibawe and Don Carlos.

The bills seek to establish accessible, high quality and efficient technical education and skills development centers that shall be beneficial not only to Grade 11 and Grade 12 students but to the out-of-school youth and ordinary citizens.

The measures also aim to equip citizens with basic practical knowledge and technical expertise, geared towards a society that would be self-reliant, productive and more importantly employable.

The lawmaker is hopeful that the establishment of training centers in their province will lead to economic rewards not only for families but also to the community.

“It will raise the standard of living and benefit the country,” he said.
