SENATORIAL BET STRESSES EDUCATION IS KEY TO BREAKING CYCLE OF POVERTY
FORMER Senator and Alyansa senatorial bet Manny Pacquiao stressed that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
During his meeting with the governors of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Pacquiao laid out his plans to invest heavily in the youth by establishing more educational institutions, providing scholarships, and offering vocational training programs.
“We need to invest in our youth, in their future. They deserve the opportunity to succeed,” he emphasized.
“I know what it’s like to struggle, to fight for a better life. I promise to fight for BARMM, to ensure that no one is left behind,” said Pacquiao.
He also outlined strategies for job creation, including fostering small businesses, agricultural reforms, and infrastructure development, all aimed at ensuring a stable future for the region’s people.
Access to quality healthcare, particularly in remote areas, is another priority for Pacquiao.
He expressed his commitment to improving healthcare facilities, training more healthcare professionals, and addressing critical issues such as maternal health and child mortality.
“Every Bangsamoro deserves to live a healthy life. We will make healthcare a priority,” he pledged.
