SENATOR ROLLS OUT MEDICAL CARAVAN FOR STUDENTS
SENATOR Risa Hontiveros on Thursday spearheaded a medical caravan which provided free and state-of-the-art medical services to young students and their families living in Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Hontiveros was accompanied by former Vice President Leni Robredo and representatives from the office of Camarines Sur 3rd District Representative Gabriel Bordado Jr.
They visited San Isidro Elementary School in Naga to meet at least 300 students, parents and other beneficiaries taking part in the Legislators’ Medical Caravan.
Patients of all ages were provided with free laboratory services, such as X-ray, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, and full blood chemistry tests. They also availed of free medical consultation and wete given medicines.
The Legislators’ Medical Caravan, which is meant to complement the Brigada Eskwela in schools, aims to provide free medical services in at least 10 public schools in Naga.
