SENATE Minority Leader Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III is considering filing a supplemental report on the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee’s investigation on the procurement of costly laptops for public school teachers.

The committee investigated the procurement of P2.4 billion alleged overpriced and outdated laptops through the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management.

Pimentel is reviewing the committee report prepared by Senator Francis Tolentino, chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee.

He confirmed that he has signed the report.

“I have signed ‘for purposes of discussion and interpellation’. My office is still studying if we need to file any supplement,” he said.

“We will supplement if we see something not sufficiently discussed. Our office is still in vigorous discussion,” Pimentel said.
