SENATE FETES BAR PASSERS
TWELVE Senate personnel who passed the recent Bar exams were feted on Thursday.
Senate Secretary Myra Marie Villarica led the commendation ceremony.
Among those feted were Anna Issabele Amores from the office of Senator Leila De Lima; Krisha Mae Laurente and Christine Anne Peñalosa from the office of Sen. Manny Pacquiao; Vicente Leido IV from the office of Sen. Grace Poe; Marni Fenina Ortega from the office of Sen. Ralph Recto; Christina Santos from the office of Sen. Imee Marcos; Albert Tijam Jr. from the office of Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, and James Michael Uaminal from the office of Sen. Lito Lapid.
Also in the list were Voltaire Robles of the Office of Sergeant-at-Arms; Romel Patacsil of the Legislative Budget Research and Monitoring Office; and Ethel Hope Dignadice-Villaflor and Andre Mortel from the Legislative Committee Support Service for Governance and Legal Concerns.
Villarica, also a lawyer, reminded the Bar passers to be proud of the law profession.
“Even here in the Senate, you can promote your advocacies through the laws passed and in assisting the senators by sharing your ideas,” she said.
