RED CROSS STARTS VACCINATING MINORS

/ 8 November 2021

THE PHILIPPINE Red Cross started vaccinating minors aged 12 to 17 over the weekend.

More than 50 children were inoculated at the PRC Bakuna Center in Mandaluyong City on Saturday.

The PRC also opened its 1158 hotline to accommodate calls regarding its pediatric vaccination program which will be headed by its Health Services department.

“The best protection against Covid19 is to get vaccinated. By being vaccinated, you will not only be able to take good care of yourself but protect your family, friends, and your community as well,” said PRC chairman and chief executive officer Senator Richard ‘Dick’ Gordon.

The PRC has prepared two vaccination sites for children without comorbidities.

The government has expanded its pediatric vaccination to include minors outside Metro Manila.
