QUEZON City has vaccinated more than 193,000 minors aged 12 to 17 against Covid19.

Based on the city’s data, 193,756 minors have received their first dose since pediatric inoculation started last year.

Minors belonging to the said age group are encouraged to register through the QC Vax Easy Plus:

Walk-in applications are not allowed.

Vaccines made by Pfizer and Moderna were approved by the Philippine Food and Drugs Administration for adolescents.

Last month, the Philippine Food and Drug Administration allowed the use of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid19 vaccine to kids below 11 years old.

FDA Director-General Eric Domingo said that the vaccine has an efficacy rate of 90 percent.
