PTA ASSOCIATION WANTS RESUMPTION OF F2F CLASSES NEXT SCHOOL YEAR

/ 11 July 2022

DESPITE the rising cases of Covid19, the National Parent-Teacher Association Philippines on Sunday said that it wants the resumption of face-to-face classes next school year.

PTA president Willy Rodriguez said that based on the results of their online survey, 100 percent of respondents want the return of in-person classes in private and public schools.

Rodriguez suggested that unvaccinated students may be separated from the vaccinated ones, while unvaccinated teachers may teach on a hybrid setup.

The Department of Education has not made vaccination mandatory.

However, the department noted that vaccination is mandatory for teaching and non-teaching personnel attending in-person classes.
