PNP OFFERS CAMPS, FACILITIES FOR VACCINATION OF MINORS

/ 20 September 2021

THE PHILIPPINE National Police has offered its camps and other big facilities for the inoculation of minors.

PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said the camps and other facilities can be used to inoculate the dependents of police personnel to help decongest vaccination centers.

“Ngayong halos patapos na ang vaccination sa aming hanay, inatasan ko na ang aming Administrative Support for Covid19 Task Force sa pamumuno ni PLTGEN Joselito Vera Cruz na maghanda sa pamamagitan ng pag-umpisa ng paglilista ng mga 12-17 years old dependents ng aming uniformed at civilian personnel,” Eleazar said.

“This will be in preparation for the expansion of the government’s vaccination program for minors in order to have as many Filipinos protected from the Covid19,” he added.

He noted that using PNP facilities will also help local government units ensuring the safety of children in vaccination sites.

“Makikipag-ugnayan ang inyong PNP sa NTF Against Covid19 at sa Department of Health na gawing vaccination sites ang aming mga kampo para sa 12-17 years old dependents ng aming mga personnel upang maiwasan ang pagdagsa ng mga menor de edad sa vaccination sites ng ating mga LGUs kapag nag-umpisa na ang pagbakuna sa kanila,” Eleazar said.

Some LGUs have started the online registration of those aged 12 to 17 in anticipation of the expansion of the vaccination program to include minors.
