PHINMA EDUCATION POSTS 52% REVENUE GROWTH

/ 3 September 2023

PHINMA Education posted a 52 percent year-on-year growth in revenues for the first half of 2023 due to higher enrollment rate.

It reported a 30 percent increase in enrollment in the second semester this school year compared to the same period last year.

The network said that consolidated net income tripled to P307.47 million in the first half of 2023 compared to P96.88 million in the first half of 2022.

PHINMA Education is composed of 10 schools serving over 124,000 students.

It boasts a 79.06 percent passing rate for first-time takers across various licensure exams. Seventy-one percent of its graduates are employed within one year of graduation, a number expected to rise as the economy recovers.

To prepare for an increasing number of students attending face-to-face classes, PHINMA Education recently opened PHINMA COC Iligan Campus, PHINMA Araullo University San Jose Campus, and a Dentistry building in SWU PHINMA. It also completed renovations in PHINMA Saint Jude College Quezon City, PHINMA Rizal College of Laguna, and Horizon Karawang in West Java, Indonesia. A new building is also being constructed in PHINMA University of Pangasinan.

“This year is a convergence of our model continuing to show promise, the growing need for the services we provide, and our business doing well on all aspects,” said PHINMA Education President and CEO Dr. Chito Salazar.

“We hope to be able to reach more and more underserved students who need quality education the most, so that they can uplift themselves, their families, and communities,” Salazar added.
