PBED TO YOUTH: ENROLL IN JOB TRAINING PROGRAMS

THE PHILIPPINE Business for Education urged the youth to avail themselves of programs that aim to upskill them to take on jobs of the future.

PBEd Executive Director Justine Raaga said that JobsNext, stakeholders and local government units collaborated in training the youth.

“There are many organizations that are more than willing to help you achieve your dreams. The local government is also working very hard to help you do this, and JobsNext is just one of the ways to help you become future-ready,” Raagas said during the project’s launch in Cagayan De Oro.

“It will be a collaboration of various stakeholders, and there will be participation from the private sector, training institutions, and academe,” the official added.

The training programs will focus on skills that LGUs will identify.

JobsNext aims to offer industry-relevant, demand-driven, and suitable training programs for young people aged 18 to 25 in order to assist them be prepared for occupations of the future.
