PASIG POLICE HOLD SEMINAR ON DRUG USE FOR YOUTH

THE PASIG City police recently conducted a seminar that aims to broaden the knowledge of the youth on drug use and local terrorism.

The seminar was conducted through the city’s Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terosimo program. The program is part of the Philippine National Police’s Anti-Terrorism campaign.

Pasig City Police Station Community Affairs Deputy Chief Rocard Acorda, SCAS Officer-in-Charge Catherine Deligente and lecturer Col. Roman Arugay led the activity that also served as orientation and seminar of new members of KKDAT Pasig.

The attendees include KKDAT Manila President and Sta. Mesa, Manila Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman Miko Custodio, KKDAT Regional Secretary Hannah Kristel Ligayo, and KKDAT Regional Board Member Marvin Capino.

The Pasig Police said the seminar is part of the continuous program of the National Capital Region Police Office to eliminate terrorism and local conflicts.

It also aims to further broaden the knowledge and understanding of the youth on the importance of their role as stewards in the implementation of KKDAT program in empowering the youth.

“Naniniwala kami na sa kabila ng mga pagsubok, nanatili at mananatiling pag-asa ng kinabukasan ang mga batang bayani ng ating bayan,” Arugay said.
