PASAY STUDENTS RECEIVE CASH AID

THREE thousand students in Pasay City have received their cash aid from the  local government, Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano said.

Each student got P3,000 for the period October to December 2020.

The beneficiaries were students of the Bernabe Elementary School, Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School, and Rafael Palma Elementary School, according to Ronnel Arellano, the administrative officer of the Pasay office of the Department of Education.

Rubiano said the city government had started preparing the stipend covering the period January to March 2021.

All students in Pasay, from kinder to senior high school, will get the cash aid, Arellano said.

The next batch to get their financial aid will be some 6,000 students of Maricaban Elementary School and Pasay City North High School-Tramo Annex.

The remaining 60,000 qualified recipients will get their aid in the coming weeks.
