PARENTS NOT HESITANT TO VACCINATE THEIR KIDS VS COVID19, SAYS MEDICAL GROUP

/ 31 October 2021

THE PEDIATRIC Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines said parents were not hesitant to let their children get vaccinated for Covid19.

PIDSP president Dr. Mary Ann Bunyi attributed the positive attitude to an efficient information campaign by health authorities regarding the importance of vaccines.

Bunyi also noted the initial phase of the pediatric inoculation was successful.

“Naging tahimik at maayos po ang naging rollout ng pagbabakuna dito sa mga batang ito,” she said.

The doctor encouraged more parents to let their children be vaccinated.

Only Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been approved for pediatric jabs.

The nationwide vaccination of age 12 to 17 with or without comorbidities will begin on November 3.
