OVP PROVIDES SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO STUDENTS
THE OFFICE of the Vice President distributed PagbaBAGo bags to students of Don Andres Soriano Elementary School in Toledo City, Cebu, as part of its thanksgiving activities marking the 89th Founding Anniversary of the OVP.
THE OFFICE of the Vice President distributed PagbaBAGo bags to students of Don Andres Soriano Elementary School in Toledo City, Cebu, as part of its thanksgiving activities marking the 89th Founding Anniversary of the OVP.
A total of 485 PagbaBAGo bags were distributed to 225 Grade 2 and 260 Grade 5 students. The bags contained essential learning materials and dental kits.
The event also featured a tree-planting activity at the Barangay Hall of Ilihan, aimed at promoting environmental protection.
An awarding ceremony was held to recognize six individual beneficiaries of the Mag Negosyo Ta’ Day Program, followed by an outreach activity at the Ilihan covered court that served 1,600 beneficiaries, including senior citizens, persons with disabilities, fisherfolk, farmers, and members of the Muslim community.
The OVP extended its gratitude to its partners, including the Barangay Captains of Ilihan, Tungkay, Dumlog, and Magdugo, as well as barangay tanods, Barangay Health Workers, the Philippine National Police in Lutopan and Toledo City, FRVC, Equalizer, and Criminology students.
