ONLINE PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT FOR PUP PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS

/ 21 November 2020

PSYCHOLOGY students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines will be given online psychosocial support by department faculty members to help them recover from the effects of distance learning amid the Covid19 pandemic.

The program is spearheaded by the PUP Psychology Students Association, the academic organization of the school’s Department of Psychology. It will run from November 25 to 26, 2020.

“As advocates of mental health, we asked the help of our Department and the students of Masters and Doctors of Psychology in PUP Graduate School to conduct an Online Psychosocial Support,” PUPPSA said on Facebook.

“This is to help the students of CSSD cope and recover emotionally, making the most out of our academic break,” it added.

The program is open to students of the College of Social Science and Development.

The event is in partnership with the PUPSA, PUP Graduate School, Masters of Arts in Psychology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology.
