NAVOTAS INAUGURATES 11 PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS

/ 27 March 2022

NAVOTAS City Mayor Toby Tiangco inaugurated 11 public school buildings as students slowly return to face-to-face classes.

“Our students have been studying at home for two school years now and we know they are excited to come back and physically attend their classes. We want them to be comfortable and safe while in school,” Tiangco said.

The Tanza National High School, San Roque National High School, San Rafael Technological and Vocational High School, and Navotas Elementary School–Central were among the schools that already have an additional four-story building, each with 12 classrooms.

Another building with eight classrooms is located between San Roque and San Rafael Village Elementary Schools, while Kapitbahayan Elementary School has new 24 classrooms.

Tangos National High School and Tangos Elementary School 1 each have two four-story structures with 20 new classrooms.

For its efforts to foster continuous learning, Navotas was awarded the Seal of Good Education Governance in 2021.
