MAYOR JOY DISTRIBUTES PHOTOCOPIER MACHINES TO QC PUBLIC SCHOOLS

/ 13 January 2021

ALL public schools in Quezon City will get their own photocopier machines to be able to produce modules for their learners.

The city said it will distribute photocopiers in line with the Department of Education’s Learning Continuity Program.

“We want to make sure that all of our public school teachers are well-equipped to educate our youth and that all of their teaching needs are met,” Mayor Josefina ‘Joy’ Belmonte said.

She said that 3,210 laptops will also be given to teachers preparing for remote classes. They will also be provided a P1,000 monthly load allowance.

City Schools Division Superintendent Jenilyn Rose Corpuz thanked the city government, saying the equipment will be of big help to schools.

“The continued assistance will surely help our schools, especially our teachers, and we extend our gratitude to the city government, through the leadership of Mayor Belmonte for their all-out support to our education system,” Corpuz said.
