THE SCHOOLS Division of Mandaluyong City once again proved its competence after the Division topped the 2022-2023 National Achievement Test administered by the Department of Education last June 2023.

Based on the DepEd data, the City of Mandaluyong took the lead in Grade 10 after recording a 58.90 mean percentage score in more than 228 schools division offices throughout the Philippines.

Mandaluyong City Mayor Ben Abalos and Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos lauded this remarkable achievement of the DepEd-Mandaluyong. This is proof of the cooperation of the Division and the city government and the mutual desire of Mayor Ben and Vice Mayor Menchie that students in the city have better future if they have access to quality education.

Meanwhile, the City of Mandaluyong Science High School displayed its academic excellence after placing fourth top performing school in the entire country with 77.65 MPS.

NAT G10 is one of the exit assessments conducted by DepEd in the 10,725 public and private schools in the country that implement the Grade 10 curriculum through a paper-based test.

The students’ 21st century skills such as problem solving, information literacy, and critical thinking in English, Mathematics, Science, Filipino and Social Studies were measured.
