LAS PIÑAS PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO DISADVANTAGED YOUTH
THE CITY government of Las Piñas gave school supplies to the disadvantaged youth to help in their studies.
The city’s Social Welfare Development Office, led by Vice Mayor April Aguilar partnered with the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines-Las Piñas Chapter for the distribution of the educational assistance.
The school supplies given to the youth include notebooks, tumblers, scissors, scientific calculators and raincoats.
The CSWDO also conducted supplementary activities such as parents effectiveness service, general assemblies and parent-teacher dialogues to strengthen the city’s education program.
Meanwhile, the officials from the Department of Education-Schools Division Office of Las Piñas City paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Mel Aguilar and Vice Mayor Aguilar to present the newly installed principals.
