KILLER OF 2 NURSING GRADUATES GIVES UP

/ 9 October 2020

GUILT prompted the killer of two nursing graduates and a nursing student in Caloocan City to surrender to the police on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Ronald Cajepe, 38, a construction worker, gave himself up to the Quezon City Police. Cajepe admitted killing nursing graduates Glydyl Mamon Belonio and Mona Ismael Habibulla, as well as nursing student Arjay Belencio.

Earlier, another suspect, Anselmo Singcol, told police that Cajepe killed the victims. Singcol and Cajepe were hired by the victims to renovate the house being occupied by the victims.

Cajepe told authorities that they only wanted to rob the house but the victims identified them so they decided to kill them. Singcol denied his involvement in the killing.

Singcol was earlier charged with robbery with homicide.

Authorities are eyeing revenge as the motive because the victims fired the two men for padding the price of construction materials and for using illegal drugs.
