FRESH graduates find it difficult to land jobs because of the sad state of the education system that worsened because of the pandemic, ACT Teachers party-list Rep. France Castro said.

The lack of face-to-face classes aggravated the situation and left students lacking in “soft skills” or those related to empathy, creativity, resilience, and communication, as well as practical job skills, she added.

The lawmaker has filed bills integrating Araling Panlipunan and Filipino subjects in the curriculum.
