ISKO RELEASES CASH AID FOR UDM STUDENTS

STUDENTS of the Universidad de Manila will receive P2,000 in financial aid from the city government of Manila for the months of November and December.

Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso signed the release of the cash grant on Monday, December 13.

Under the city’s Social Amelioration Program, 11,596 college students of UDM will receive the financial assistance.

The city government will also provide allowance to 580 Grade 12 learners of UDM for the months of September, October, November and December.

Under the program, a monthly allowance of P1,000 is given to qualified students of the UDM and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and P500 for qualified senior high school students.

The students must be residents and registered voters or children of registered voters in the city. They should also have good academic standing to be eligible for the monthly allowance.
