INCLUDE PRC PERSONNEL IN VACCINATION PRIORITY LIST — SEN. GO

/ 27 April 2021

SENATOR Christopher ‘Bong’ Go on Monday sought the inclusion of frontliners of the Professional Regulation Commission, including proctors and watchers in board exams, in the A4 priority group for Covid19 vaccination.

The senator said that he discussed the PRC’s concerns on the conduct of upcoming board exams amid community quarantine restrictions with Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito Galvez, Jr. and Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.

Last March, 52 Covid19 cases were confirmed in the PRC central and regional offices. A member of the Board of Medical Technology succumbed to the disease.

This prompted the PRC to postpone the nursing licensure examinations from May 30 to 31 of this year to November 21 to 22 instead.

The PRC Covid19 Task Force has recommended the vaccination of the agency’s frontliners, personnel and members of Professional Regulatory Boards, volunteer proctors and watchers to give them protection.

Go agreed with their appeal.
