A GRADE 8 student of the Mariano G. Medalla Integrated School in Bacolod City joined Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio in Brunei Darussalam and Singapore.

Naomi, 14, is a participant of the project of Office of the Vice President called “You Can be VP.”

She was with Duterte-Carpio during her visits as head of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization.

“You Can Be VP” provides young students the opportunity to witness the vice president at work.

The special project aims to make young people value education, to persevere in realizing their dreams in life and cultivate their leadership skills.
