FILIPINO educators can now apply for the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers.

In a Facebook post, Fulbright PH announced the opening of the application process for the 2024-2025 program.

The deadline for application is April 30, 2023.

“#Fulbright DAI is a semester-long non-degree, non-credit, professional development program at a US university,” it said.

“Participants will audit courses in the host university’s School or Department of Education and thus will be part of the general university community,” it added.

Those who will be accepted will get the chance to observe and co-teach with US teachers in a US school near the host university.

Cultural enrichment, mentoring and support will be provided throughout the program.

Teachers who successfully complete the program will be eligible to compete for small grants awards for essential teaching materials upon their return.

They can also offer follow-on training for other teachers, collaborative projects between participating American schools, and other activities that build on the exchange experience.
